“Warming Spice,” a candle made to warm up on cold days.
Fresh ground cinnamon mixed with zesty ginger and grounding allspice, nutmeg, and clove.
Light for comfort, connection, grounding during the hectic season, and to warm up on chilly days.
There’s some science behind our sometimes fanatical love for spices as the weather cools. These spices are thermogenic: when we eat them our circulation improves and our core temperature rises. This makes them literally “heartwarming,” which may explain why we cook and scent our homes with them while celebrating the season with those we love. They’re also said to be supportive of the heart chakra, helping us open up in connection with others.
